“Friday Feature” is a new stage to highlight one of our traders making an impact in the Simpler community. Here’s Allison Ostrander, Director of Risk Tolerance:

Allison is an integral part of the Simpler family, where she continues to grow as a trader and share her near-decade of options trading experience and knowledge.

Her experience in not only trading, but teaching others how to trade. This devotion shines through in her videos and blog posts. She has been through the ringer of the markets and seen other traders go through the ups and downs of trading.

Her goal is to help traders minimize the downs, so their ups can outshine in their account.

Allison combines her creative soul with a passion for trading.

After earning a bachelor of fine arts degree in college, she wanted to avoid becoming a starving artist while pursuing theatre. She had watched her father successfully navigate options trading and she began experimenting with a paper trading account.

Her interest quickly grew into a passion. She took it upon herself to invest in trading classes, and she made back her investment on her first trade. There was no looking back.

Today Allison is able to explain complex trading strategies and chart patterns with ease.

And she does this while balancing – literally – her child on her lap as she tracks the markets. She can tackle today’s volatility with one hand on the keyboard as she shares her insights in a live online chat room while feeding a bottle to her daughter with her other hand.

Allison offers a daily dose of insightful details on how she earns regular income. She delivers her assessments live during market hours in the Options Gold and Foundations chat rooms. Her unique view of the markets offers any trader a new perspective on investing.
